Release of Liability

WHEREAS, in return for participation in or attending the California National Party (CNP) activity today, and any other activities going forward the Undersigned agrees as follows:

I hereby expressly assume the risk of participating in and/or attending the activity today, which may include, but is not limited to any risks or harms that may occur including any injury I may suffer due to my presence at a CNP activity, and I hereby waive any liability claims against the CNP, and/or any of its agents, for any injury, illness, contagious disease of any kind, or any other harm which may occur to me at this or any future CNP activity.

I hereby release and discharge the CNP, and/or any of its agents, of and from any and all fault, liabilities, costs, expenses, claims, demands, causes of actions, lawsuits, damages, judgments, or any other actions of any kind or nature whatsoever arising out of or in any way related to the Activity today and/or any future CNP activities which I may attend in the future, my attendance or participation, or any act or omission of the Undersigned, including any personal injury, illness, or death which I may suffer or incur as a result of participation in or attendance at this or any future CNP Activity, whether or not caused by the negligence or wrongful acts of the CNP of the above listed address. I do further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the owners of the above listed address, of and from any and all fault, liabilities, costs, expenses, claims, demands, causes of actions, lawsuits, damages, judgments, or any other actions of any kind or nature whatsoever arising out of or in any way related to the Activity, any future CNP activities, or any act or omission of the Undersigned.

This release is binding upon my legal representatives, heirs, and assigns.

Clothing & Behavior policy

While we allow participation from everyone in our contingent, please be aware that the SF Pride Parade has a history of nude spectators being present as well as possible encounters of inebriated persons, as such, we ask that discretion be advised when considering bringing youths to participate. Participants in our contingent must remain clothed and avoid becoming inebriated whilst participating. Please refrain from engaging in behavior that may incite violence.

Photo, Video, and Audio Recording Release

I grant permission to the CNP, SF Pride, and their employees and agents, to take and use visual/audio images of me. Visual/audio images are any type of recording, including but not limited to photographs, digital images, drawings, renderings, voices, sounds, video recordings, audio clips, or accompanying written descriptions. The CNP will not materially alter the original images. I agree that the CNP and SF Pride own the images and all rights related to them. The images may be used in any manner or media without notifying me, such as sponsored websites, publications, promotions, broadcasts, advertisements, posters and theater slides, as well as for other uses. I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished images or any printed or electronic matter that may be used with them, or to be compensated for them. I release the CNP and its employees and agents, including any firm authorized to publish, broadcast and/or distribute a finished product containing the images, from any claims, damages or liability which I may ever have in connection with the taking or use of the images or printed material used with the images. I am either 1) at least 18 years of age and competent to sign this release, I have read this release before signing, I understand its contents, meaning and impact, and I freely accept the terms; or 2) am under the age of 18 but my parent or legal guardian is competent to sign this release on my behalf as well as understand its contents, meaning, and impact, and I freely accept the terms.

All participants who can show proof of at least two doses of the Coronavirus vaccine may walk maskless. Those who have only a single dose of the vaccine or are unvaccinated must wear a mask unless they can provide two negative covid tests from 48 and 24 hours before the event. The CNP encourages the wearing of masks regardless of vaccination status, as well as maintaining distance when possible. Participants are encouraged to bring hand sanitizer, wash hands frequently, and to wear PPE as they feel appropriate. By participating you absolve and waive all claims of liability against the California National Party (CNP) and its event organizers. The rules of the SF Pride Parade Organization and the City and County of San Francisco shall control over this policy.
